Our remix of a straightforward seventies social housing estate creates surprising living scenarios and color combinations. A new interpretation of financial and constructive restrictions allows us to create two new apartment types in the tower: house-like maisonette apartments with double-story loggias; and two-sided apartments facing west and south, where a glazed “bathing loggia” can be created. All buildings are cladded with shimmering, bronze-colored corrugated aluminum, contrasting with the bright insets of the balconies and loggias. In their new outfit, the long, the short and the tall house join to form a recognizable gang of buildings in the almost rural environment of Seebach. |
