The rebels of the “generation of 1968” are coming of age. We researched the specific needs and desires of today’s elderly people and tried to design a house for them - a collective building for individualists... We created apartments with two-sided views that can be configured in many different ways by simply opening doors. The house with its public, collective and private gardens becomes a generator of views offering maximum spectacle to those who have difficulties leaving their apartment. A public passage to the adjacent school building and a public cafeteria for all generations make sure the courtyard is protected, but not deserted. If you’re not in a social mood however, you might also chose to take the other way out, step directly from the elevator into your car and hit the road…

Simple doors convert the loft into a two-room apartment

The building contains a public courtyard, collective terraces and private roof gardens
